The Calgary Parkland Community Association is a volunteer organization run by community members who want to create a more vibrant, healthy, safe, and sustainable community for all Parkland residents to enjoy. We operate and maintain the Parkland Hall and the sports fields on land leased from The City of Calgary. As a registered community association, we also make neighbourhood improvements and have a voice in The City of Calgary planning and development approval process. Of the 1448 households in Parkland, about 500 are Parkland Community Association members. We'd love to see all residents of Parkland join us. If you have a membership we encourage you to renew it.
The annual $25 membership fee is voluntary, but membership is required for some community sponsored events. Your membership fees help us bring community members together through various programs and events such as:
• Community Garden
• Canada Day Breakfast
• Parade of Garage Sales & Community Clean Up Day
• Seasonal Parties – Winterfest, Fallfest, Halloween
• And more!

Parkland Community Association or Parkland Community Centre?
As a Parkland resident, are you confused between the Parkland Community Centre and the Parkland Community Association? The Parkland Community Centre ("Park 96") is the private-gated park owned by the property owners of Parkland. A mandatory fee of $200 is charged to residents annually to maintain and operate the park and its events. Amenities of Park 96 include a water park, tennis courts, kids’ park, skating rinks and disc golf. Some of the events that occur at the park are the Summerfest, Autumnfest, Plant Exchange, Sport Swap and Summer Sundays. As Parkland residents, we are fortunate to have both associations available to us.
